The Site
A redesign was in order for the second year of Metro Detroit's Japanese animation convention. It's styled in shades of blue to contrast the firey colors of the previous year. The design features photos of the previous year's activities, guests, and attendees.
Behind the Scenes
The CSS-focused design of the previous year was carried over to 2006, so almost all the updates to the design were done by modifying the style sheet and graphics, leaving the XHTML structure intact. This also lets users of the discussion forums view them in the 2005 design if they choose.
Fairvue is responsible for the design coding, graphics (excluding artwork and photography, which were adapted to the Web by Fairvue), and forum maintenance of this site.
