Chicago Bloggers is a project cataloging Chicagoland weblogs by train stop. Most of the project involved creating custom maps of the transit lines that users can click on to jump to a specific station.
The liquid design of the site adjusts to fit most browser window sizes automatically, without the use of tables. The database doesn't need to load icons and colors for each weblog; they're included in the CSS styles.
Fairvue is responsible for the design coding and graphics of this site.
Chicago Bloggers' logo is a homage to the Chicago flag. Just like the flag, it includes red, white, blue, and four six-pointed stars. The font resembles the typeface that was used on Chicago Transit Authority station signs in the middle of the 20th century.
